Day of Prayer for Survivors of Abuse![]()
This year’s Worldwide Day of Prayer for Survivors and Victims of Sexual Abuse will take place on 7th March, the first Friday of Lent. Blessed candles will be lit in parishes across the country to symbolise repentance; light in the darkness and hope. The lighting of the ‘Candle of Atonement’ and accompanying prayers will take place in St John’s at the start of our 12 noon Mass today, Friday 7th March.

A voice that called the Prodigal home.![]()
A voice that spoke over Jesus in the Jordan River: “You are my beloved.”![]()
