A: The weekly offering is used for parish expenses which include the following:  Liturgical Supplies Diocesan Contributions Music Ministry  Retreats, Training, Seminars, Meetings Heat, Light Rates & Water Staff Salaries & Training   Postage Insurance Bank Fees Printing/Stationery & IT Costs Telephone & Internet Legal/ Professional Fees Honoraria (Volunteer acknowledgements)
Q: What is the general maintenance fund used for?
A: The general maintenance fund is used for the following:  General Maintenance on all parish property, which includes Fire Alarm maintenance and remote monitoring of the church/hall  Fire Extinguisher maintenance Security Alarm maintenance Gutter Cleaning  Ground maintenance Cleaning Equipment and Materials  General Repairs/ Upkeep  Safety checks of electrical equipment/Emergency lighting checks/ Fixed Wiring test
Q: What is the Holy Day collection used for?
A: This year all collections taken up on Holy Days will be set aside for Welcome and Hospitality initiatives. This will include opportunities for parishioners to gather and hear each others stories, share faith and food, to build relationship and to foster a sense of belonging within our parish faith community as well as meeting our neighbours from beyond St John’s. Some initiatives will have a particular focus on the elderly, the stranger and the marginalised.

A: The Monthly Collection is used to provide a stipend for the Parish Priest.
